Seminar on UK student visas in B'lore today
The British Council is organising a free seminar on ‘Student Visas’ in Bangalore on Friday for the benefit of students who have secured admission to institutions in the U.K. for the September/October 2012 intake under Tier 4 of the Points Based System. The seminar will be held between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the British Library, off Kasturba Road. An Entry Clearance Officer from the U.K. Border Agency, British Deputy High Commission, will brief the students on the latest student visa procedures, including the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), sponsors, Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS), biometrics, useful documents to submit, and information on working while studying and after studying in the U.K., said a release.
