Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy stated that Rs.400 crore would be spent to cater to the needs of physically challenged students under Rajiv Vidya Mission (RVM) this year.
Speaking on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of ‘Netra Vidyalaya’ set up by China Jeeyar Swamy at Muchintal village in Ranga Reddy, he stated that Rs.2,500 crore had been allocated for RVM this year out of which, Rs.400 crore would be spent on physically challenged students.
The chief minister stressed the need for reforms in the education sector and told teachers to impart education to improve human relations instead of just educating children for the sake of employment or to fulfil the dreams of their parents.
