The APSRTC Employees Union State maha sabha will be organised in Hyderabad on September 6 and 7. The union organised Autonagar Depot maha sabha at Chalasani Uchita Nyaya Salaha Kendram at Patamta in the city on Friday. Union zonal secretary Y.V. Rao said that eversince the APSRTC Employees Union was formed on July 11, 1952, it strived for the rights of the workers. The weekly off, eight hour work rule, gratuity, leave encashment, general provident fund, incentive, uniform and other rights were the fruits of relentless struggle waged by the union, he said. The workers and employees were deprived of their rights and job guarantee with the privatisation and outsourcing policies pursued by the management.
